The Religious Formation Conference (RFC), Silver Spring, Maryland has two positions available. One is full-time and one is part-time. See below. Program Director (Full Time) The director will be charged with designing, planning, implementing and evaluating current and new programs in the area of initial and lifelong formation of members of religious institutes of women and men. The candidate will have experience in initial and ongoing formation, in program design, development and implementation, a Master's degree in theology or equivalent credential and experience, computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs. She/he will work in close cooperation with the Executive Director. Director of Development (Part-Time) The position has the potential to become full-time. This is a new position for RFC and the director will be charged with organizing and setting up the infrastructure for a multi-faceted fund-raising program to include annual, major and planned gifts as well as well as special events.
The candidate will have a minimum of three years fund-raising experience, a bachelor's degree, and a well-formed understanding of religious life.
