Joseph W. Coen, C. A.
Archivist
Mr. Coen has been Archivist of the Diocese of Brooklyn since 1993. He was born and baptized in Our Lady of the Snows Parish and grew up in Our Lady of Lourdes, Queens Village. He is a graduate of O. L. L. School, Cathedral Prep, Elmhurst and Cathedral College, Douglaston. He holds a Masters in Library Science from St. John’s University and is a Certified Archivist.
Currently, Mr. Coen is Chair of the Archivists of Religious Institutions (ARI), Immediate Past President of the Association of Catholic Diocesan Archivists (ACDA), Vice-President of the ARMA Long Island Chapter and an active member of various archival and records management organizations.
Along with Dr. Patrick McNamara and Msgr. Peter Vaccari, he is a co-author of Diocese of Immigrants: The Brooklyn Catholic Experience 1853-2003.
Kelly Patti

Kelly has worked for the Diocese of Brooklyn since April 2007 acting as a Secretary and Closed Schools Registrar for the Office of the Archivist. Kelly graduated from Midwood High School in June 2005. Kelly hopes to continue her studies and one day obtain a degree in library science which she feels would benefit the office to the fullest extent.
